Mr Panos Lamiris originally from Cyprus founded Sole S.A. Athens in 1974, developing the Thermosiphon Solar Collector which is now produced by many companies around the world, later he developed the Integrated Parabolic Collectors, then in late 1990 the low energy Adsorption Chiller Unit used inthe Sole solar air-conditioning systems.

Greece is recognised as the first European country to utilise solar thermal energy and Sole S.A was the first to develop this technology in the region after the Greek government recognised the importance of energy conservation.

Today Sole S.A. is recognised as a world leader for the technical achievements in solar thermal technology not only through the international awards but also by our competitors.
